G.Grant — Taste born from tradition

Our story

A halal steakhouse and butchery in Dearborn — a bridge between the traditions of the meat craft and a modern kitchen.

The name

George Grant, a Scottish cattleman from Banffshire, came to America in 1871. Two years later he brought the first Angus bulls across the Atlantic — the beginning of the Angus legacy in America. He is remembered as the father of American Angus.

The 1871 on our crest marks that tradition, not the day our doors opened. We honor his pioneering spirit the only way that counts at the table: quality, precision, patience and craft.
